Capital District Merit Badge “Summer School” 2009
Dear Boy Scouts and Scout Leaders:
As some of you know, I will not be holding the
full "Merit Badge Summer School" for all ages of boy scouts as
I have done the last two years. However, to answer a need, and
several requests, I have decided to hold a
"Late Bloomers" Merit Badge Summer School
based on the following:
- ONLY for boys ages 15, 16 and 17 years of age.
- For all troops, both LDS and Community (non-LDS).
- Location: The same as the last two years - my place:
4487 Bloom St, Boise (in the Collister area)
- Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM daily (There will be several evening
sessions however. Schedules are being solidified.)
- Date: June 8-26 (3 weeks)
- Especialloy good for:
- Boys who are *running out of time* on getting the necessary
required and/or elective merit badges done in order to
qualify for Eagle Advancement.
- Boys who had *dropped out* of scouting but want to reactivate
and start qualifying for advancement again.
- Boys who are already Eagles or who have already earned the
required minimum for Eagle Advancement but who want to pursue
additiona merit badges for bronze, gold or silver palms.
- Boys who just love to learn, enjoy or explore new areas of
interest.
