Training Dates

The Wood Badge course will be held September 13-15 & 27-29, 2007.

Attendance is required at all parts of both sessions for certification.

Qualifications and Requirements

   1. Registered with the Boy Scouts of America    2. Completed Boy Scout Leader Fast Start and Leader Specific Training    3. Must have Class 3 physical (form 34412B) within one year before the     beginning of the course. (Forms available at the Scout Office.) Remember, Camp Morrison is at 5,000 feet above sea level.

How Do You Apply for Wood Badge

  • Fill out and submit the on-line application form on this web site.
  • Print and fill out the application form from this web site, then mail or take it to the Ore-Ida Council office in Boise.
  • Pick up and fill out an application form at the Ore-Ida Council office in Boise.
  • Pick up and fill out an application form at your monthly District Roundtable meeting.
  • Call the Course Director with your registration information.

Cost and Fee Schedule

The cost of the Wood Badge course is $190 per participant. Fees cover meals, neckerchief, binder, program supplies, and liability insurance. All fees must be paid in full 30 days before the start of the course.

Attendance at all sessions will be expected and is required for certification.
